Damaged and the Saint is Finally LIVE!

The final book of the Damaged series is finally live! Saint and Harlow find their HEA, old friends enjoy new adventures, and we get sneak peeks of future series as new characters arrive in Ellsberg.

I have plans for a Saint spin-off next year where a few of his badass friends find love. Plus Sawyer and Jace jump ahead more than a decade to have fun of their own.

Until then, I hope everyone enjoys Saint and the New Year!!!

Saint is available at AmazonB&NKoboScribd, and Smashwords.

Bijou Babbles: Saint, Gator, and the Holidays

For months, I've been asked when Damaged and the Saint would be published. I hoped for late October (ha!). Then it was Thanksgiving (I wish!). Next was mid-December (that would be right now!). I finally promised the book would be published in December.

Well December 30 is the official date, so I've kept my promise. I know this book has taken me forever. Yet my son is finally getting the help he needs, so hopefully I can focus more in 2015.

My first project next year is the standalone novella for a multi-author box set. As soon as Rebound Biker is complete, I’ll start Broken Memphis. I’d love to have it published by early March.

Amazon has finally approved Gator’s sexy new cover. Since it took so long though, I've decided to keep the sale going through the weekend.

Also, my last giveaway of the year ends on the 17th, so be sure to enter.

Finally, I hope everyone enjoys the holiday season. I'm so thankful to you all for your support this year. You’ll never know how much it has meant to me.

Coming Attractions: Sawyer/Jace Edition

Last week during a blog party for Kathryn Kelly's new release, I posted info about Sawyer Johansson's standalone novel. I wanted to share it with everyone who might have missed it.

A dozen years in the future, Sawyer mourns the loss of her father. To cope with the grief, she ditches Ellsberg and looks for trouble on the road. Big brother Cooper sends his enforcer Jace to track her down.

Sawyer and Jace started as friends before becoming something more. Jace was her first and only love, but he pushed her away. Now Sawyer’s running wild and Jace’s job is to bring her home. Despite their past together, she doesn't plan to make things easy for him.

“In the Wind” will take place mostly out of town, yet we’ll be able to catch up with the Damaged couples and their families. I hope to publish the book in the summer of 2015.

Damaged and the Saint Cover Reveal

Final Book in the Damaged Series

Saint lost his soul in Mexico a decade ago. Once a man of God, he struggles against his restless nature, drawn to a life of death.

As a teenager, Harlow´s innocence was stolen. Years have passed, yet she still hides behind her rage, haunted by darkness, too afraid to trust.

Broken and desperate, they must let go of the past and embrace their chance at love.

Damaged and the Saint's expected release is December 2014.

Bijou Babbles: Family Issues and Publishing Delays

I want to start by thanking everyone who’s enjoyed my books and talked them up to their friends. My success is purely based on word of mouth, so I’m incredibly thankful to my great readers.

I had really hoped Damaged and the Saint would be published this month. It still might, but I can’t be sure anymore. As some of you know, my 17 year old son has been ill since earlier in the year. His health continues to deteriorate because of behaviors related to his autism. Since my day to day schedule is stressful, Saint remains incomplete and might not be published until December. Broken Memphis will likely be released in early 2015.

I’m a very private person and normally hold my personal issues close to the vest. Yet everyone has always been so supportive of my delays. I’ll know more by next week (fingers crossed) and will have a better idea of when the books will be published.

Thanks to everyone and happy reading!

Bijou Babbles: Updates and Fist Bumps

Hey, sorry for the delay since my last blog post. My son was sick again and the autumn weather has been kicking my ass. Fortunately, I’m back to writing and blogging.

Looks like Damaged and the Saint will be released mid-November, though I don't have an date set. While this will be the last official Damaged book, I'm planning to write a novella/novel for Sawyer and Jace plus I'll one day (hopefully during the holidays) finish the Cooper POV novelette.

The Sawyer/Jace project will be one of a standalone romances I'll write in 2015. I have a couple others planned along with starting a few series. One new series will be a spin-off from Little Memphis MC. I had initially planned to make LMMC series only two books that followed the Reed brothers. When the first book was so well received, I decided I might use my idea for a third book. Then reality hit!

The third book is darker than the first two. Though the characters I had in mind are introduced in LMMC, they don’t fit the humor of the brothers. Not that they won’t have their lighter moments. Being a smartass is sort of my thing.

Bad Men Rising will be the first series I write in 2015 then the spin-off of Little Memphis (series name unknown). I’m also considering a Damaged spin-off following Saint and Harlow’s new business venture. I'll explain more about that once the book is out.

Juggling a lot of ideas, I'll need to see which ones feel the meatiest. I've had one idea for a standalone book that’s changed many times since it first popped into my head. Some stories remain vague for a long. Others though hit me fast and furious, needing to be written that very minute.

Next week, I'll post a Saint cover and blurb reveal plus another giveaway for Halloween. I also realized I have way too many paperbacks in my house, making it impossible for a messy person like me to get organized. I’ll need to do lots of signed paperback giveaways to help clear out my clutter. :)

Until then, happy reading!

Bijou Babbles: Saint, Pax, and 2015

What a week. I want to begin by thanking everyone who bought, reviewed, and talked up Little Memphis. Starting a new series before finishing Damaged was a gamble, but I’m thrilled so many readers connected with Shay and the Reed brothers.

I’m currently writing Damaged and the Saint with the goal of publishing a little after Halloween. I won’t have a set publishing date until mid-Oct. This book is the first time I've finished a series, so I want to allow for the time necessary to properly wrap everything up. Not only do we say goodbye to the characters in Ellsberg, but we’ll meet the guys from the Bad Men Rising trilogy I’m writing next year.

Early next year, I'll take part in an anthology with several awesome romance authors. I can’t give too many details since it’s still on the DL. I can say my standalone novella will be a second chance romance. I’m very excited to participate and can’t wait to share more info.

As for 2014, I won’t get much of a vacation. As soon as Saint is completed, I'll start Pax's book. I had intended to make the series two books. Yet since so many readers connected to the first book, I’m considering adding a third. I have characters in mind plus book three would allow for more time to deal with the changing club dynamics.

Broken Memphis will be released by the end of the year. As excited as I am to spend time with the Reed brothers again, I need to give Saint his due first. In fact, he's waiting for me right now, so I'll finish my post with the first teaser from Damaged and the Saint. Thanks to Miranda as always for putting together the design.

Little Memphis Cover Reveal

Little Memphis ~ 9/18/14

Summary
Ford spills blood as an enforcer for the Little Memphis MC.

Shay makes an impulsive choice to start over her life in a wild city controlled by a motorcycle club.

Meeting Shay at the MC´s bar Suede, Ford sees her as a shiny new toy to spice up his life. Shay sees him as a sexy bastard she needs to avoid.

The city of Little Memphis is filled with violence and dubious loyalties. The days of the club’s supremacy are over as enemies fight for territory and alliances fall apart. It’s a dangerous time to find love, but Ford and Shay have never been good at playing life smart.

Bijou Babbles: August Blues

August is a weird month. Just saying...

Little Memphis is getting a new release date. Between family health issues and the book being longer than the last few Damaged novels, I need more time to fine tune it.

I've been dying to write Little Memphis since January when I stopped in Blytheville, AR. I was driving to TX for a book signing and brought along my two assistants/sons Jack and Luca. If you remember back in Jan, a massive snowstorm hit the Midwest, so we took most of the day to get through Illinois. By the time we arrived in Blytheville, it was dark and we were cranky.

The hotel was nice and the girl at the front desk was nicer. As we began dragging our suitcases inside, a nice couple asked if we'd been to town before. When they learned we hadn't, the woman warned us to be careful since Blytheville was called Little Memphis.

As you can imagine being a single woman with two boys on the road, I wasn't thrilled to find out we stopped in a scary place. The reality was we were gone by the morning, never had a single problem, everyone we met was sweet as sugar, and we chose to stop there on the way home a week later. Yet the idea of Little Memphis stuck with me.

The Little Memphis series  will focus more on the MC along with Ford and Pax's jobs as enforcers. In the novels, Little Memphis isn't a safe place to live even for those protected by the club. Yet Shay finds friends and her fantasy man in this violent world.

Soon I'll post excerpts from the book, a cover reveal, and blurb. I also have lots of fun giveaways planned for September. Until then, happy reading!

Bijou Babbles: Memphis, Sales, and Giveaways!

Hey, chickies! I can't believe August is already here. I'm currently working on the first book in the Little Memphis MC series. I'm hoping to have it released either late August or early September.

Then I'll return to Ellsberg for Damaged and the Saint. Harlow will meet a man strong enough to break through her walls. I'm planning for Saint to be released by November. While I'm sad to see the series end, I'll likely write a book one day for Sawyer and Jace. I suspect their book will be released late in 2015.

For now, my focus is on Little Memphis ~ a romance between MC enforcer Crawford Reed and Shea/Shay Thompson. On the sidebar, I'm having a poll to help decide on the spelling of her name. Here are my visual inspirations:

In other news, Used is .99 this weekend at Amazon and B&N. If you haven't grabbed a copy yet, now is the time!

Finally, I'm having a giveaway for a signed copy of Damaged and the Bulldog. Be sure to sign up. Plus keep an eye out because I'm planning more signed giveaways through August.

Damaged and the Bulldog is LIVE!

Book six in the Damaged series is now live on Amazon, B&N, and Smashwords. In Bulldog, Dylan and Winnie find their HEA and spend time with the crew. We also get hints at the final Damaged book with Harlow and Saint.

I'm taking a break for a few weeks to work on a book for my other pen name. Once I get it completed, I plan to write both Saint and Little Memphis. The latter is the first in a two book series following brothers and MC enforcers. My goal is to publish both books along with Saint in 2014. I'll start fresh with new series and standalone books next year.

I hope everyone enjoys Bulldog and thank you for your support!

Bijou Babbles: Bulldog Delay

Bad news, chickadees. While I was editing Bulldog, I found myself unhappy with elements of the book. Something was just lacking. With time running out before the expected July 15th release date, I knew I needed to either publish a book I wasn't happy with or postpone for a week.

I didn't want to shortchange Dylan and Winnie and especially not my readers, so I'm holding the book for a week to do additional work. I apologize for this last minute delay. In a few days, I'll post a cover reveal and blurb.

I also want to thank Miranda for creating a new teaser for me.

Bijou Babbles: Publishing Update

Hurray for summer!!! Fireworks are already bursting in the air here for the 4th of July. Yep, my neighbors get started early.

I am currently finishing the first draft of Damaged and the Bulldog. I'm a little sad writing this book since it follows Winnie and her family. All the Harlow time reminds me how her book will be the end of the Damaged series. While I have considered returning to Ellsberg one day to give Sawyer a HEA, writing a book that takes place so far in the future can be tricky.

After Bulldog, I plan to start a new two books series titled Memphis. Enforcers for a biker gang, Crawford and Paxton Reed find their HEAs in a crime ridden town. Little Memphis will be published before Damaged and the Saint with Broken Memphis coming afterwards.

I figure I'll finish 2014 with a few standalone stories then start new series next year. That's my plan anyway and we all know how I am with plans. :O

Until next time, happy reading!

Bijou Babbles: Used is here!!!

I'm on a roll!!! After months of delays, I finally have a writing groove!!! First with Dragon and now Used. My new biker romance is available at Amazon, B&N, and Smashwords. Still waiting on the paperback.

Bo
I did six years in prison to protect the Grove Motorcycle Club. Now free, I remain trapped in their lies. The only freedom I find is in the bed of a girl who’s no one’s favorite.

Sydney
The club owns me and I see no escape until Bo. With his rough manner, I should protect my heart. If only it were so easy.

Used is a standalone novella.

***Extra thanks to Miranda for her cover design. Yummy!

Now onto Damaged and the Bulldog! Happy reading, everyone!!!

Damaged and the Dragon is finally here!!!

Damaged and the Dragon is finally available at Amazon and Smashwords. B&N takes a bit longer to publish, so I’ll post the links when Dragon is online there too.

I want to thank my beta readers who helped me make today’s deadline. There were times when I thought I’d never finish, but the book is finally live!

No rest for the wicked writer though. I’m already working on Used and aiming for a June 3rd deadline. In addition, I’ve sketched out Damaged and the Bulldog with Dylan and Winona. I’ll start working on the 6th Damaged book as soon as Used is completed.

Several readers have asked why the Damaged books along with Gator aren’t available on B&N and other outlets. The books were in the Amazon Select program which means they can’t be sold anywhere else. On May 26th, they'll return to B&N, Smashwords, and other venues.

2014 has given me plenty of distractions, but I’m back in the groove and hoping to catch up with my publishing goals. Thanks for all of your patience.

Bijou Babbles: Quick Dragon Update

Real life hasn't made Damaged and the Dragon an easy book to finish, but its big day is nearly here! I am working my ass off all weekend to ensure Bailey and Nick's story is released on Tuesday, May 20, 2014.

I had wanted to post a blurb, but I care too much about your lovely brains to punish you with the crap I've come up with so far. Yeah, it's pretty bad. Here's a hint though: Damaged is the Dragon would be a better title for the book.

Have a great weekend and happy reading!

Bijou Babbles: Happy Easter and Dragon Update

Let me start by wishing everyone a happy Easter. Even if you don’t celebrate the holiday, I hope you’re enjoying a lovely Sunday.

An update now on Damaged and the Dragon. For the third time, I need to push back the release date. My middle son was hospitalized for two weeks in early April and this threw off my writing schedule. With my son home and life settling down, I can now concentrate on Dragon. I am hoping for an early to mid May release date. I’ll know more once I get into a groove this week and see how quickly the book is coming along.

I apologize for the delays and promise to pull out all the stops to get Dragon published as soon as possible.

Happy reading!

Bijou Babbles: April Fools and Spring Blues

Happy April Fool's Day! I promise nothing I write in this blog is a fake out.

Over the weekend, I sent out a teaser for Dragon to those on my mailing list. I want to thank my co-blogger and BFF Miranda for designing it. I have no talent for visuals, so she's my go-to girl.

Some of you might have noticed the release date for Dragon is now simply April 2014, rather than the 15th. Yep, between my son's health issues and a spring cold rolling through the house, I'm behind. The good news is I'm finally in a writing groove. The bad news is I can't give a specific release date. I just know Dragon and Used will be released in April. Once the books are in the hands of beta readers, I'll give everyone more specific release dates.

I hope my next blog will provide more specifics. Until then, happy reading.
